Synergy Additive Manufacturing LLC has received a grant from Remade Institute in partnership with Rochester Institute of Technology and Caterpillar! This project lays out a novel laser based technique for remanufacturing high-strength components such as crankshafts, camshafts, and other cylindrical components with an intent to increase the reuse rate in engine remanufacturing.
