A SUPERIOR ALTERNATIVE TO HARD CHROME

High Speed Laser Cladding (HSLC) and Ultra High Speed Laser Cladding (UHSLC) processes refers to modified laser cladding process that enables deposition of substantially thin coatings of the order of 0.001”-0.01” (25-250 microns). This process is typically applicable to hydraulic rods and other cylindrical components and is characterized by spinning the rods at high RPM resulting in surface speeds of up to 7800 in/min (200 m/min).

HIGH SPEED LASER CLADDING CAPABILITIES

Synergy Additive Manufacturing LLC offers a choice of materials including 400 series Stainless Steels, high hardness alloys, Tungsten Carbides and other alloys deposited with High Speed Laser Cladding and Ultra High Speed Laser Cladding processes that exhibit excellent wear resistance, corrosion resistance and hardness. Synergy also builds complete turn-key High Speed Laser Cladding Machines.
